Avro Energy is an energy supplier operating in Britain. The company launched in 2015 to challenge The Big Six, who dominate the energy industry.
Who owns Avro Energy?
The Managing Director is Jake Brown. He studied and worked in Law before setting up Avro Energy. Jake is quoted on the website as saying they have “a different approach to simplistic supply.”

Do Avro Energy have smart meters?
Avro are working towards being able to provide smart meters. However you can submit your email address to be on the installation list.
If you’re switching to Avro Energy with a smart meter already installed you may be able to continue using it. The company may be able to support the second generation smart meters called SMETS2, but they cannot support the first generation smart meters called SMETS1.
Is Avro Energy renewable?
Avro haven’t released their fuel mix yet so it’s not clear whether they use any renewable energy sources.
Does Avro Energy offer the Warm Home Discount?
