You can unsubscribe from the money-savings newsletters at any time by going to the bottom of an email and selecting the ‘Unsubscribe’ link. You will then be asked to confirm your preferences.

If you have received a scam message we strongly recommend that you take the following steps:

  • Forward the suspicious text to your network provider for free to 7726. If you forward a text to 7726, your provider can investigate the origin of the text and arrange to block or ban the sender, if it’s found to be malicious;
  • Take a screenshot or screen recording of the text message and send it to the National Cyber Security Centre at ;

 

  • If you’ve lost money as a result of responding to a suspicious text message: (i) Report to Action Fraud by calling 0300 123 2040 or visiting https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/contact-us; and (ii) report the fraud to your bank who may be able to recover some of the funds that they released on your behalf; and

 

  • Review your social media account settings to ensure that your contact details are not openly available to view.
